AIMS AND PURPOSES

WCR provides the opportunity for real estate professionals to participate on all levels of organized real estate: local, state and national. The Council provides assistance and encouragement to its members to advance their real estate careers. Through continued education, members increase their knowledge and skills as well as further the recognition of women in real estate.

On the local level, regular monthly meetings bring REALTORS®, REALTOR-ASSOCIATES® and Affiliates together to encourage greater cooperation in day-to-day business activities, encourage exchange of ideas and listings, provide a referral network, increase awareness of civic and political involvement's, and develop leaders and speakers.

On the state and national levels, members meet with other members from other parts of the U.S., discuss business problems and work towards solutions, learn how business is conducted in other areas, stimulate competitive leadership and recognition, ask questions, and seek answers from peers.

WCR's major aims and purposes include:

Develop members as capable and knowledgeable leaders.

Install desire to succeed.

Conduct their business at all times on an ethical bases.

Become educated and involved in personal financial planning.

Give back to the industry some of their time and talents through contributions of their expertise.

 

Over the years, through careful planning and practical application of programs and activities, WCR has developed many of its members into viable, prominent and respected leaders.
